Xvirus Anti-Malware (formerly Xvirus Personal Guard) will make sure that your Windows-powered PC is and always will be malware-free. If you suspect that your PC is infected, Xvirus Anti-Malware will scan it, identify malware infections, and mitigate the situation. If your PC is clean, Xvirus Anti-Malware will make sure it stays that way by offering real-time protection against malware.

Unless you tell it not to, this application’s setup wizard will create a desktop shortcut and a Start menu shortcut, will run Xvirus Anti-Malware once the installation process completes, and it will perform an initial scan. Speaking about scans, it’s worth pointing out that Xvirus Anti-Malware lets you run several types of on-demand scans: quick scan, full scan, custom scan.

Xvirus Anti-Malware has a dark interface that looks very nice, provides support for multiple languages, and is incredibly easy to navigate. You can easily initiate an on-demand scan, you can easily check for updates, and you can easily access the Settings menu and play with numerous options that govern how Xvirus Anti-Malware works – like Xvirus Auto Mode, which takes important decisions without pestering you for your input.

Xvirus Anti-Malware is available as a Free and as a paid Pro edition. Xvirus Anti-Malware Free offers real-time protection against malware and scans your computer for signs of malware. But it doesn’t let you enable the Network Guard, doesn’t feature password protection, and doesn’t let you check your computer’s status from an online dashboard.

If you already have an antivirus on your PC, Xvirus Anti-Malware will run alongside it and offer an extra layer of protection. According to the developer, Xvirus Anti-Malware "was designed to block threats which your current anti-virus solution may not detect."

Scan your PC with Xvirus Anti-Malware to make sure it hasn’t been infected with malware. Make sure your PC remains malware-free by relying on Xvirus Anti-Malware to offer real-time protection against malware.

Pros

Installing Xvirus Anti-Malware on a Windows PC is a simple task. The dark interface is very easy to navigate. You can run several types of scans and you can play with a lot of settings. Xvirus Anti-Malware offers real-time protection against malware. Xvirus Anti-Malware is available as a Free and as a Pro version.

Cons

Certain features are available only if you get the paid Pro version.
